chocolate chip cookies

I'm baking chocolate chip cookies right now (my fav!). I owe a big fat thank you to Betty Crocker for making gluten free chocolate chip cookie mix that's cheaper and better than a lot of the GF mixes out there.  I always forget how easy it is to whip something up from a box since I have to make so many things from scratch...

Today was a busy day and I've been up since before 6:30...I should be (and would be) continuing the Christmas present making frenzie, but I'm afraid I've tired my poor thumb out for the night as it's been aching for the past few hours.  My list of things to make is slowly but surely dwindling down, and I'm hoping to be finished with *most* of the presents before our big show Monday night.

I cannot believe Christmas is so close! I've been working really hard on presents this week... I hope I can finish early.

I went shopping yesterday, but waited until later so it wouldn't be such a madhouse (it wasn't too bad). When I got home, Mario found out that the show we thought he was supposed to play on Friday was happening last night! So he left and I got to wrap some of the presents I bought him :)

Sooo cute! I found some really cute winter time fawn wrapping paper at the Dollar Tree that I'm using to wrap my gifts this year....which I should be working on right now!

oooh. Tonight we got to go see Willie Nelson play at the Austin Music Hall. It was everything I thought it would be and more. I missed some of my favorite people that I usually see at Willie shows, but Mario and I still managed to have fun.

After, we went to Koriente (thanks Rach June) with Aunt CiCi & Mom....Mario ate so much that he practically fell asleep in his chair at the table! I've been staying up so late lately that I'm not really that sleepy (and it's already 2:30!), but I end up sleeping in really late and get mad at myself when I realize what time I'm waking up.

I finally got my new $15 ebay boots. I wore them tonight with my mom's dress from 10th grade. Super cute!

I think I will do...5 things I would buy (from etsy) if I had the money....

Hello. Instead of working on Christmas gifts (like I should be...) I'm writing in this new blog thing. Let's see how it goes...

Today we went to see the Princess & the Frog with Bianca. It was super cute! It was awesome that they played zydeco music in a Disney princess movie. Ava watched too. I don't think any other five-month-old would quietly watch a movie like that. I love my family!

So since I'm not going to use my other blog (this layout/site is much better) I'll repost my Christmas wishlist.
